Last week I had the privilege of going to Toronto to check out WAXON WAXBAR in the financial district and wanted to share my experience with you guys.
WAXON was created to provide a trendy, high end environment with professional Waxologists and great prices. While they book appointments, they also accept walk-ins so they can help even the busiest of clients.
WAXON is the number 1 rated waxbar in Toronto, and for good reason. The salon itself is so beautiful and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. I went to the location in Toronto’s financial district, but there are six other locations to choose from.
While I was there I had my eyebrows waxed, which is something I have done numerous times throughout my life. A few years ago I had a bit of a waxing mishap in which the esthetician took too much off and made my brows super thin as well as two different shapes. Since then it has been a painful process trying to get them back to where I want them. I expressed my concern to my Waxologist, Shima, and she did such an amazing job at cleaning up my brows while making sure they still looked bold.
The process itself was quick and painless. When I was done, Shima offered to apply foundation and fill my brows in for me as I had a day of shopping planned. Any salon I have gone to before always offers some foundation but I had never been offered for my brows to be filled in, so I thought that was a really nice touch.
My brows haven’t looked this good in ages, and while it isn’t always in the budget to go to Toronto every 4-6 weeks to maintain them, I’ll definitely be booking a waxing appointment every time I go to into the city.
*I received a complimentary service in exchange for this review. This in no way influences my opinion of WAXON.
