I’ve mentioned in the past about how I like to switch up my fragrances with the seasons. Now that spring is here I’ve been opting for lighter scents and have been recently obsessed with a new launch from L’Occitane. They recently released their Terre De Lumiére Eau de Parfum* and I seriously can’t get enough!
For starters the bottle is stunning. It looks so summery yet elegant and looks gorgeous sitting on display. The actual fragrance inside was inspired by the Golden Hour (a unique moment right before the sun sets for the day and the light embraces the sky).
The scent is a smooth aromatic gourmand fragrance that is warm yet fresh. I find the scent to be slightly sweet too; which I really like as super sweet scents can give me a headache throughout the day.
The fragrance has a musky base with notes of bergamot, pink pepper, and lavender. I have been really enjoying bergamot lately, so that was a bonus for me and the lavender gives it a soothing feel in my opinion.
To me, this scent is ageless and one that anyone could get away with wearing it, which can be hard to find in a fragrance. I love it, as does my mom, and I could see this scent suiting my grandmother as well.
It’s a perfect scent for the spring and summer. I have been wearing it nearly everyday since receiving it and have been getting a ton of compliments on it. If you’re in need of a fragrance that’s not so heavy I definitely recommend giving this one a try – it’s so lovely!
