Last year around this time I picked up the Tarteist Contour Palette and was immediately obsessed! Initially I bought the palette for my sister as a Christmas gift but when it arrived it looked so pretty that I ordered one for myself too. I’ve used it a ton ever since so when I saw the new Tarteist PRO Glow Highlight & Contour Palette * launched, I was eager to give it a try!
The palette itself is so pretty! I love the sleek black and gold packaging as well as how it opens from the middle. Inside you get 5 powders and 1 cream that are suitable for all skin tones. The variety of highlighting and contour shades is really nice. The palette includes: ‘Lit’ (a champagne highlight), ‘Strobe’ (a pearl highlight), ‘Fire’ (a bronze highlight), ‘Stunner’ (an opalescent highlight), ‘Shade’ (a cream contour shade), and ‘Sculpt’ (a powder contour shade).
The quality is just as good, if not better than the original Tarteist Contour Palette. The contour shades aren’t super pigmented so those with fair skin like myself can use them with a lighter hand; however the build up quite easily so deeper skin tones can use the the palette as well. The shimmery shades looked so pretty to me however I was worried they might be a bit too intense. That wasn’t the case at all though; so I was very pleased. They give a slight shimmer to the skin without being too much.
The powders are all very buttery and blend almost effortlessly on the skin. The cream contour is really nice too and reminds me a lot of the one in my Anastasia Cream Contour Kit. It is easy to blend and is very long lasting.
This palette is really incredible and I can’t recommend it enough! Whether you’re in need of a highlighting/contouring palette or are looking to treat yourself to a new one, this one is definitely worth it.
