The arrival of fall usually means the beginning of cold and flu season. Being sick is never any fun but unfortunately something we all have to deal with sometimes. Today I thought I would share with you my sick day essentials to help get me feeling back to normal:
Sore throats are the absolute worst! These are my favourite throat lozenges of all-time. They help soothe my sore throat without numbing my tongue like a lot of their competitors. Plus, they have a really great flavour selection. (my favourite is the lemon mint)
Sweats or Cozy PJs
Being comfortable is key. On a day spent mostly in bed, nothing beats cozy pyjamas.
For whatever reason I love curling up and watching romantic comedies when I’m feeling under the weather. Some of my favourites are: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Mean Girls, and Pretty Woman.
Often times when I have a cold my lips get chapped. When that happens, these are some of my favourite balms to have on hand. They work really well at repairing my chapped lips and they feel really moisturizing.
I think this one is pretty self explanatory. Nothing beats my mom’s homemade chicken noodle soup when I’m feeling under the weather.
