Shu Uemura Ultimate Remedy Collection

Shu Uemura Ultimate Remedy Collection for damaged hair

I recently dyed my hair darker and have been wanting to take better care of it. While I always want to take care of my hair, I especially feel the need to since adding colour to it. I have been using the Shu Uemura Ultimate Remedy Collection * which has been improving the overall quality of my hair.

The emerald green bottles have a luxurious look to them and I love that they each have a different shape but are still coordinated. This range is rather expensive for hair care, but I would argue that the products are worth it if you are looking to splurge. The products all smell really nice too. They have a floral scent to them that isn’t too overpowering.

The collection consists of a shampoo, a conditioner, and a hair mask. They work really nicely together and are best suited for damaged hair.

Ultimate Remedy Shampoo

This shampoo is best suited for damaged or over-processed hair. It gently purifies without being harsh on your scalp. I really like this as I have a sensitive scalp. The formula of the shampoo contains lotus infusion so it is quite nourishing on the hair. I love how clean this shampoo makes my hair feel without making it feel dry or stripped.

Ultimate Remedy Extreme Restoration Conditioner

This conditioner repairs damaged hair as well as nourishes and detangles it. It gets instantly rinsed out, which I really like. I am guilty of skipping conditioner sometimes because I don’t always want to leave it in my hair for the few minutes it takes, so this is a really good option for me. I also love how soft and shiny this conditioner makes my hair.

Ultimate Remedy Masque Restorative Treatment

This hair mask instantly replenishes, nourishes, and rebuilds hair without weighing it down. While volume isn’t necessarily a concern of mine, this is a great feature if it is for you. The mask gets left on 5-10 minutes which isn’t too bad in my opinion. I have been aiming to use it twice a week and it has made a noticeable difference in the condition of my hair. I love how smooth and soft it is!
