As a beauty blogger I test a lot of different products out. Often times the products in my collection are ones that have a lot of hype surrounding them, but today I thought I would share with you some of my favourite products I haven’t seen a lot of reviews about.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Loves Lights Highlighting Powder in ‘Goddess’*
For starters, the packaging on this highlighter is so luxurious! It comes in a beautiful black compact with a magnetic close as well as an applicator puff. While I prefer to just use my own brushes, it is definitely a nice touch. The powder is really subtle and pretty on the skin. It makes my skin look glowy and the formula is enriched with antiaging benefits. Also, by using the code: LIPSTICKANDCONFETTI20 at the checkout, you can save 20% off your order!
Rouge Bunny Rouge Feline Gaze Eye Kohl in ‘Lilith’*
While I’m usually more of a liquid liner girl, this eye kohl is one of the best I’ve used! The matte grey shade is really nice and is long lasting. It applies easily and has a nice, creamy formula. The same coupon code as above applies to this liner too!
I love a good mud mask but hate how messy they often are. This mud mask is actually a sheet mask so you get all of the benefits of a mud mask without the mess, which I absolutely love! The mask detoxifies skin without the dry, tight feeling of a traditional mud mask. My skin feels so clean after using this too. If you use the coupon code: LIZ25, you can save 25% off any product now through August 25th.
This treatment is applied morning and night after cleansing. It helps with uneven skin tone and acne scarring, which are two of my main skin concerns. In just a couple of weeks I noticed an improvement in my skin, which is really great for such an affordable product. It feels really nourishing on and absorbs quickly.
While Laura Mercier is definitely a brand with some hype surrounding it, I hadn’t heard much about this lip balm before receiving it, but I can’t figure it out! This balm is amazing! It comes in the prettiest tube and smells amazing. The formula contains a blend of rosehip seed, kukui, and macadamia seed oils to soothe and comfort the lips. It feels so nourishing on and shields lips from environmental stressors. While it’s great to keep in my handbag I love applying it before bed too.
I’m not usually a cleansing balm fan, but I’m completely converted after trying this one out! The formula contains grapeseed oil and sweet almond oil to plump and softer, moringa seed extract, wild sea fennel, and vitamin E to purify, as well as jasmine and rose to recondition dull, dry skin. It removes my most stubborn makeup easily but it can also be left on for 10 minutes as a hydrating mask. My skin always feels so soft and clean after using this.
