    Hydration To Go

This past week has been a tad stressful. Unfortunately my blog went down over some hosting issues, but I have been able to restore most of it. While I couldn’t get all of my posts back, I’ve saved what I can and plan to move forward. While this experience has been awful, it has taught me the importance of backing up my work and I am so happy to be back blogging. Today I thought I would review this great little set I recently picked up from Sephora. I recently ordered the Sephora Favourite Hydration To Go kit from Sephora. I love when they do these sets because they’re a…

    Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water

It’s no secret that I looove micellar water, so when I saw the new Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water, I had to pick one up. Targeted at those with dehydrated, sensitive skin, this sounded perfect for me. I love Bioderma’s original micellar water too, but with having particularly dry skin right now, I thought this was definitely worth a try. It removes my makeup just as well as the original formula and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and soothed. I also love how it leaves my skin feeling so clean, not greasy like a lot of my oil-based makeup removers tend to do. The big bottle isn’t too expensive…

    Bright Eye Drugstore Makeup Tutorial

I love watching YouTube. I’ve gotten into the habit of watching videos while I get ready in the morning and really enjoy it. A good month ago now I was watching In The Frow’s makeup tutorial for New Year’s Eve. I loved how different it was and really wanted to recreate the look. Victoria used the Lorac Mega Pro 2 palette, which is really hard to get in Canada. I was feeling a bit discouraged, but after looking through my own makeup collection, I found some suitable alternatives. Today I thought I would share with you guys how I created Victoria’s super pretty look using all drugstore makeup! For my…

    Peter Thomas Roth Mask Trio

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’ll know I love a good face mask. I’ve wanted to try the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme mask for ages, but with such a steep price tag, I haven’t been able to justify it. Though, when I was browsing the Sephora website recently, I saw they had Peter Thomas Roth mini mask set including the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask for just $25! I couldn’t resist and ended up ordering one and wasn’t disappointed. The set includes the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, as well as the Cucumber Gel Mask and the Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask. The pots are quite small, but you…

    Sigma Brushes

I love treating myself to makeup, but I never really treat myself to quality makeup brushes. So, when I received Sigma’s Most Wanted brush set for Christmas, I was ecstatic. I’ve wanted to try Sigma brushes for ages but never got around to purchasing any. Now I’m hooked, and I completely see why having quality brushes makes all the difference. Not only are they softer on the skin, but they apply and blend my products so much nicer than most of my cheaper brushes. This particular set comes with five brushes. Two face brushes and three eye brushes, which is a great variety. First in the set is the E40…
