    Velvet Noir

I love trying out new mascaras so when Sephora was offering the new Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara as a 100 point perk, I immediately picked one up. Marc Jacobs mascaras usually aren’t my favourite, but with so much hype surrounding this one, I was eager to give it a try. Volume is the most important factor to me when it comes to mascara and since this one has ‘major volume’ in the name, I thought it would be a good one to try out. While I didn’t have super high expectations for this mascara, I was really impressed with it! My lashes look thick and full when…

    Inner Rim Liner

Inner rim liners have been my secret weapon to looking more awake these days. It’s amazing what a difference they can make in my appearance. Today I thought I would share with you guys a high end option as well as one from the drugstore so you can look more awake no matter what your budget is. My high end favourite is the Tarte Inner Rim Liner. The formula glides on so nicely and has a creamy texture. The packaging is quite small and sleek, making it easy to get in there. The lid clicks in place so you never have to worry about it falling off, making it a…

    GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD

GLAMGLOW has a pretty good rep in the beauty world; and I especially love the GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD. Their skincare gets numerous rave reviews despite the high price tag. I’ve been lucky to try most of their face masks, and they really are incredible. While they are on the more expensive side, the masks give quick, lasting results, which definitely make them worth the money in my opinion. Lately I have been obsessed with their THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment. My skin is so dry this time of year and this mask has helped tremendously the last little while. I use this as an overnight mask, applying a layer at least an hour…

    Clinique Moisture Surge

I typically have dry skin. This can often be frustrating to deal with and I’m always on the hunt for new products promising to moisturize my skin. The Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief has worked its way into my skincare routine so I thought I would share with you guys how I’m liking it. The gel-cream feels extremely soothing on my skin. The texture of this is dreamy and unlike any other moisturizer I’ve used. If my skin is feeling dry or sensitive, this really helps calm it down. I find if my skin is extra dry this isn’t my favourite moisturizer; but when I feel it starting to…

    Naked Smoky

I know I’m late to the party on this one, but I recently picked up the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette and I couldn’t not talk about it. I didn’t have any of the Naked palettes in my collection and while I eventually want them all, I thought the Naked Smoky was a good place to start. While I love neutral shadows, this palette is different than most of the palettes in my collection. The palette comes with 12 gorgeous shades and a double ended brush, which I actually quite like. The packaging is really pretty and I like how sturdy the plastic feels. It also has a magnetic close…
