I love the Maybelline Color Tattoo eye shadows so when I saw that they had released them in crayon form, I was eager to try one out. I picked up one of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayons in the shade ‘Gold Rush’, which is a soft gold shade. There are ten shades to choose from, though if gold isn’t your thing.
The formula is really creamy, which I love. The shadow glides on effortlessly and the colour payoff is great as well. The creamy consistency is both comfortable and long lasting.
I found the crayon to be just as long lasting as the ones in the pot, but these are a lot less messy to apply. I also really like how the crayon is retractable, so you don’t have the annoyance of sharpening it when it runs low.
This definitely won’t be the only one in my collection. With so many pretty shades in the range, I want to add a few more.
I was worried I wouldn’t love the formula of these as much as the original, but I find them to be so similar, if not identical.
Have you tried the Maybelline Eyestudio Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayons yet? What’s your favourite shade?
