L’Oreal Ideal Moisture

L'Oreal Ideal Moisture
When it comes to my nightly skincare routine I have a pretty good system down. In the mornings it’s quite similar but I have recently been on the hunt for a good day cream. A lot of my skincare is high end; so I wanted something on the affordable side that would hydrate my dry skin without breaking me out.

A while ago I picked up the L’Oréal Ideal Moisture Dry and Sensitive Day Cream to try out. It is really reasonably priced and comes in a generously sized jar. Being targeted at dry and sensitive skin I figured this would be the perfect way to give my skin the added moisture that it needs while still being gentle.

I have been using this each morning for the past couple of months and really like it! It has a light smell and feels really moisturizing on the skin. My skin absorbs it right up and it doesn’t feel sticky or oily on my skin. I find it creates a nice barrier between my skin and my makeup, so in turn my makeup is going on better and lasting longer.

The day cream contains glycerol which works to retain your skin’s moisture as well as protecting your skin from further dehydration. It also contains vitamin E which helps make dry skin look and feel softer. My skin can often look flaky because it is so dry and this cream has helped with that quite a bit.

It is quite rich so if you don’t have dry skin I definitely would recommend steering clear of this one. They have a whole range of products targeted at different skin types though, so I would suggest looking at the one best suited to your skin type. If you’re in the market for an affordable moisturizer I would strongly recommend giving this range a try. I was pretty impressed with it!
