Flawless Foundation Routine

I feel like I finally found my flawless foundation routine! The products I have been using lately all seem to work really well together and have been making my skin look the best it has in years; all while being long-lasting!

You may remember a little while ago I had my makeup done at Urban Decay and I loved the end result. While this post is no way sponsored, it does feature a lot of their products but I genuinely love how they have made my skin look! I’m not sure if it’s because I’m mainly using one brand for my base makeup whereas I used to use a variety of brands each day, but the products work so well together and I’m obsessed with the finish they give my skin!

Here is what I’ve been using:

To Prep

I start things off by misting my face with the B6 Vitamin Infused Prep Priming Spray. It feels so refreshing and works to even skin tone, absorb oil, and reduce shine! It gives the skin a boost of vitamins and antioxidants to keep it looking and feeling its best. You can use it midday as well to refresh your makeup!

I then follow up with the Optical Illusion Complexion Primer. This lightweight primer makes my skin feel like butter! The pink tint works to illuminate the skin, which I totally need this time of year, but still gives the skin a soft, matte finish.

For the Base

I never thought anything could replace the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, until I tried the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation! I wasn’t expecting to love the All Nighter Foundation as much as I do as I read so many mixed reviews on it but it’s safe to say it’s my new favourite! It gives such amazing coverage without feeling heavy on the skin. It never looks caked on and I love how it makes my skin look airbrushed! It’s also super long lasting. I apply it with my BrushCraft Oval 7 brush*.

To Conceal

I’ve raved about the Naked Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer countless times in the past so I won’t go on about it too much, but it’s one of my favourite concealers! I love that it covers dark circles and blemishes without creasing. It also brightens up my complexion, which I love! I use the same BrushCraft Oval 7 Brush to buff in my concealer.

To Set

The RCMA No-Color Powder has been my go-to powder for a while now. It’s super inexpensive and I love the finish it gives my skin! It works really well to set my makeup and never leaves it looking dry.
