Fall Foundation Edit

In the summer I wear a lot of BB creams since it’s too hot for much else. When the weather starts to get cooler though I love using foundation again. Today I thought I would share with you my top three foundations I’ll be reaching for this fall:

Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation*

This is my favourite everyday foundation right now. It offers sheer-medium coverage making it a great transition from BB cream to foundation. It gives the skin a soft glow and feels lightweight on. The frosted glass bottle looks so luxurious and there are 24 shades in the range which is really nice! This foundation is really hydrating too, which I appreciate. As the temperature drops my skin gets dry and needs any added hydration it can get.

GOSH Foundation Drops*

This is another great foundation as my skin gets drier. The formula contains argan oil to hydrate and soften the skin. Initially I wasn’t sure how I felt about the dropper as an applicator but it actually works quite well and gives a medium yet buildable coverage to the skin. I wouldn’t recommend this one if you have fairly oily skin but for those of you with dry skin this foundation works really well to hydrate your skin and it gives your complexion a dewy, healthy look.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup

This is my all-time holy grail foundation. It gives serious coverage while still feeling lightweight on the skin. With 30 shades to choose from it is easy to find a perfect match. I’ve done a full review HERE so I won’t go into too much detail but this foundation makes my skin look incredible and is very long lasting. This one is a go-to of mine on long days, bad skin days, or when I want to ensure my makeup is looking flawless all day.
