The Estée Edit Gritty & Glow Palettes

The Estée Edit Gritty &Glow Palettes

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a sucker for limited edition makeup, especially the releases around the holidays! There are always so many amazing launches to choose from during the Christmas season and I’ve talked about some of my favourites over the course of this month so I wanted to take today to talk about one last launch that I have been adoring: The Estée Edit Gritty & Glow Palettes.*

These limited edition face and eye palettes come in the most insanely gorgeous packaging! They are so glittery and festive but you don’t have to worry about the glitter transferring all over your house, which is a huge bonus to me! The set includes two palettes that are magnetic for easy portability.

The formulation of both palettes are incredible! Not having tried any shadows or face powders from The Estée Edit before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very impressed! The powders are all quite velvety and so pigmented! The powders are also all formulated with tiny pearl particles for a glistening sheen.

The ‘Gritty’ palette includes 6 eye shadows: ‘Swerve’ (golden copper), ‘Riff’ (champagne rose gold), ‘Burn’ (burgundy bronze), ‘Wavy’ (deep emerald), ‘Mood’ (midnight black with multi-sparkle), and ‘Trip’ (deep iridescent blue). This makes a really great smoky palette and the shades were quite different than what I typically go for; though I’ve been getting a ton of use out of this palette and have been loving switching things up! The shades are quite glittery, but I experience minimal fallout with them.

The ‘Glow’ palette includes 6 shades for face and eyes: ‘Snowlit’ (platinum), ’14K Glow (champagne), ‘1st Light’ (soft pink), ‘Gleam’, (peachy pink), ‘Ray’ (golden bronze), and ‘Beachy’ (burnished copper). This palette has been getting a lot of use lately too! I love mixing ‘Snowlit’ and ’14K Glow’ for my highlight and ‘Gleam’ has been my go-to blush lately. This palette would compliment any skin tone and; while the bronzy shades are a little to dark for me, they make great eye shadows. The versatility of this palette is really incredible!

This is one of the best holiday launches I’ve seen this year! I think it’s an incredible value and I love the variety you get with this set. While I’ve been using it a lot lately and see myself doing so all through winter; I think it’s going to work well all year round, especially the Glow palette.
