When it comes to drugstore nail polishes Essie is without a doubt my favourite brand. My collection has grown tremendously over the years and there are still so many shades I would love to add. Their shade selection is rather extensive, the square bottles are gorgeous, and the formula is pretty impressive. That being said, I was really excited to get my hands on the Essie Wild Nudes Collection* that recently launched.
I love neutral hues when it comes to nail polish, so I was very pleased to see all the pale neutrals in the collection. There are 8 shades to choose from and all of the shades are great for transitioning from summer to autumn. While ‘Winning Streak’ and ‘Bare With Me’ are without a doubt my favourites in the collection, the entire range is full of wearable colours I see myself wearing year-round.
The shades include:
Clothing Optional – a natural sienna brown
Winning Streak – a dark purple with grey undertones
Skinny Dip – a light peachy pink
Bare With Me – an apricot hue with a slight grey undertone
Wild Nude – a light tan
Without A Stitch – a light grey
Mooning – a light blue with grey undertone
Exposed – a khaki green
The formula is the same great quality you would expect from Essie. I find the polishes super easy to apply and I can usually get nearly a week out of my manicure before I need to fix my nail polish.
All of the shades are right up my alley and this is definitely a stand-out collection for me. If you like pale neutrals, you’re definitely going to want to check out this collection!
