Damaged Hair? Kerastase Has You Covered

Winter can be super drying on my hair. The cold temperatures leave it feeling dry and brittle not to mention dull-looking. While my hair isn’t necessarily damaged from heat tools or dye, it could certainly use a little TLC this time of year as it shows similar signs to that of damaged hair. Kerastase has the perfect solution for damaged hair, though. Their Resistance line has everything you need to combat hair damage!

The collection consists of numerous different products to help repair damaged hair. While I may not be the most in need of hair repair products, my hair has been dry, brittle, and dull lately as I mentioned above and these (especially the shampoos) have been helping with that so I still wanted to share my experience and talk a little bit about the products I’ve been testing!

Damaged Hair? Kerastase Has You Covered

Bain De Force Shampoo*

This shampoo is the milder formula of the two. It works best for weakened and damaged hair. The formula works to reinforce the hair, and it smells really nice! I like how well it lathers up and it does a great job of making my hair look and feel clean. This one definitely helped my hair look a bit more shiny and made it feel less dry.

Bain Force Architecte Shampoo*

This shampoo is a bit more intense than the first one and my personal favourite of the two. This one works best for brittle, very damaged hair as well as for split ends. This formula repairs the hair fibre and I love how noticeably softer my hair is after using it. This formula has the same nice scent as the other and does the same job of cleaning my hair. I noticed my hair looked shiny and felt super nourishing while using this one!

Soin Premier Thérapiste Fiber Quality Renewal Care*

This treatment works best on very damaged or over-processed hair. This isn’t necessarily my hair type, though it is a cool product that I would recommend trying if this is your hair type. You apply it to wet hair before you shampoo. Simply leave it on for a minute or two and then rinse it out before starting your regular shampooing routine. It doesn’t weigh the hair down and because you’re applying it before shampoo, you can ensure you get all the product out of  your hair so you don’t have to worry about your hair looking greasy the next day as other hair products can sometimes do.

Volumifique Spray*

This spray is best suited for those with fine hair looking to add volume. Once again, this isn’t me so I gave this to my mom to test out. The formula has an anti-static effect which is perfect for wintertime. The formula also provides shine, suppleness, hold, and volume which is great! You simply spritz your towel-dried hair with this mist and style it as normal. The lightweight formula doesn’t weigh down hair or make it greasy!
