It’s no secret that I have a face mask obsession, so when I got a deluxe sample of the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask to try, I was pretty excited as it’s one I’ve wanted to try for ages. With promises to clarify and hydrate it sounded like the perfect combination for my skin.
This mask feels cooling and refreshing on the skin. You apply the mask, then simply rinse off after 5 to 10 minutes, making it super low maintenance. It’s also gentle enough to use daily. When I use this mask though, my skin literally drinks it up. After 10 minutes there’s barely any mask left on my face to wash away which surprised me.
With cucumber, papaya, chamomile, pineapple, sugar maple, sugarcane, orange, lemon, bilberry, and aloe extracts, this mask is moisturizing and soothes dry or irritated skin. I could definitely see myself reaching for this a lot in the summer.
At $56 this mask isn’t cheap, but it does give your skin some pretty great results! My skin feels super clean and hydrated after using this one. I probably won’t rush right out and purchase it as I really do think I’ll enjoy this one more in the summer months.
