Champagne Glow Palette

Champagne Glow Palette
Back in the summer I reviewed the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in ‘Champagne Pop’. As a big Jaclyn Hill fan I bought it as soon as I could and have absolutely loved it. So, when I saw that Becca and Jaclyn had teamed up to create the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Champagne Glow Palette; I was eager to get my hands on one.

I got one right away and have been using it every day. This Sephora exclusive palette comes with three highlighter shades: ‘Pearl’, which is a luminous pale white, ‘Champagne Pop’, which is a peachy/pink white gold, and ‘Blushed Copper’, which is a warm copper hue with a slight rose gold undertone.

I was a little unsure of how well the palette would suit me because I am quite fair. I loved ‘Champagne Pop’ already but was a little concerned that ‘Pearl’ would wash me out and that ‘Blushed Copper’ would be way too dark for my complexion. For me, I find ‘Pearl’ to be more sheer than I was expecting so it actually suits my skin tone really well. I especially like it in the inner corners of my eyes and along my brow bone. As for ‘Blushed Copper’, I can use it if I’m careful to use a really light hand, but I actually really like using it as an eyeshadow. It’s a gorgeous shade for this time of year so I’m actually getting a lot of use out of the shade.

While you don’t necessarily get a lot of product for your money with this palette as the pans aren’t that big, each powder is quite pigmented and a little goes a long way so this is definitely a palette I’ll have for quite a while. There is also such great variety in this palette making it perfect for highlighter newbies.

Each of the powders is so buttery and smooth, making for easy application. I think all skin tones will love this palette as it really does work well with them all.

Do you think you’ll be adding this holiday palette to your collection?
