    Easter Bark

This past Halloween I tried making a festive bark, which ended up being a huge hit! So, I decided to do the same for Easter but with a spring twist to it! Easter is one of those holidays that I like fine enough, but don’t necessarily get too excited about. I enjoy the family time and my parents’ annual turkey dinner, but it doesn’t get me anywhere near as excited as Christmas does. Despite that, I still wanted to have some sort of Easter content for those of you who love the holiday and thought Easter bark would be perfect! And, if like me, you’re not as into the holiday…

    Benefits of Quinoa Flour

In my quest to eat better and eliminate soy from my diet, I discovered the Namaste Foods Quinoa Flour*. I don’t have much experience with different flours as a lot of them are nut based and not something I can have so I was excited to find a nut free alternative that is also free of a ton of other allergens too. But what exactly are the benefits of quinoa flour? There’s quite a few actually! What is quinoa flour? It’s essentially just quinoa ground up into a powder consistency that can be used as flour. Gluten-Free Brownies

Brownies are probably my favourite-ever dessert. They always satisfy a chocolate craving and I love the way they make my house smell as I bake them! This week I tried out the Namaste Foods Brownie mix, and was blown away but how tasty they were! In my experience thus far gluten-free baking can be hit or miss; but these gluten-free brownies are a definite hit! Honestly, had I not baked them myself I wouldn’t have guessed that these brownies were gluten-free. They are so moist with a slightly crunchy edge that tastes just like ones made from scratch! They are so chocolately and I think everyone in my family enjoyed…

    Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Muffins

If you’ve been reading my blog lately, you’ll know I’m currently obsessed with muffins! They’re perfect for breakfast or to have as a snack; so I’ve been enjoying keeping a batch on hand. I’m trying to completely cut out soy because it bothers me; however I also find I feel better when I limit my gluten intake. I’m not allergic or even intolerant, but eliminating it from my diet a couple days a week makes me feel better (more energy, less bloated, etc.) so I have been trying to perfect my gluten-free muffin recipe. That being said; today I’ll be sharing the recipe for my gluten-free apple cinnamon muffins! I…
