The week after a long weekend always goes by so fast in my opinion and this week was no exception. I decided to switch my beauty finds of the week series to Fridays now as a fun read before the weekend. Last weekend we celebrated Thanksgiving, which was full of good food and family time. This week has been a blur and it’s hard to believe the weekend is almost here again! I’m seeing A Star is Born with my mom tonight (I loved it so much I wanted to see it again) and then the majority of the weekend will likely be spent working. But first, here is a look at what I have been enjoying most this week:
This fruity, floral scent reminds me of summer. We have had a heat wave the better part of this week and I have been wearing this fragrance a lot! It’s light and refreshing. I typically prefer warmer scents, especially this time of year, but it’s a nice change and is definitely a nice option if you’re missing the summer already!
I have been having trouble sleeping the last few weeks, but this pillow mist has really helped. I mist a little on my pillows before bedtime and am able to fall asleep faster. The blend of chamomile, lavender, and vetiver help to reduce anxiety and stress so you can fall asleep faster and get a better night’s rest. I’m a huge fan and really notice a difference when I forget to use this!
My sister has one of these glosses and loves it, so it’s been on my wish list for a while now too! The terracotta rose is absolutely beautiful for fall and the coffee scent is amazing. The natural formula contains hydrating coffee butters and arabica cold press coffee oil to give your lips a cushiony gloss that is comfortable to wear. As a coffee lover, I am obsessed with this gloss!
This has been my favourite highlighter of 2018, actually. I received a small size for Christmas in the Apres Ski Palette and promptly bought another once I hit pan on it. It’s such a beautiful highlight and without it, I feel like my makeup is incomplete. It gives my skin the most beautiful pale gold highlight that lasts all day and night. I always get a ton of compliments when I wear it and I seriously can’t get enough!
My skin has been awful lately, but this oil has been helping. It had been on my wish list for ages but I never got around to trying it because it’s so expensive. The oil now comes in a small bottle for half the price, which was a little more justifiable for me. The medicated dry oil is formulated with salicylic acid and tea tree oil to clear out congested pores, treat and prevent acne, and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Since using it my skin has cleared up considerably and I plan to continue using it to clear up the acne I currently still have.
What have you been loving this week?
