Beauty Finds of the Week

Beauty Finds of the Week

It officially feels like fall and I couldn’t be happier! Now through the new year is my favourite time of the year. This week’s beauty finds of the week are pretty good, so I’m going to get right into it:

Essie ‘Mixtaupe’ Polish *

This shade is part of Essie’s fall 2017 collection. The collection is inspired by the 90s and offers some really unique shades for fall. This particular shade is a warm ivory with pink undertones. It’s not necessarily a colour I would choose for fall, but it works. It’s a nice break from the traditionally deeper hues.

Neal’s Yard Remedies x Deliciously Ella Rose, Lime & Cucumber Body Wash & Body Lotion *

Neal’s Yard Remedies has collaborated with blogger, author, and entrepreneur Ella Mills for this collection. Earlier this year they launched a cleanser and a moisturizer which I loved and these two additions to the collection are just as lovely. Both products contain blends of oils and butters to soften and nourish the skin. They contain coconut oil to moisturize, avocado oil to nourish and protect, cucumber water to refresh and sooth, rose and lime to lightly scent the skin, and shea butter to lock in moisture. The bottles are so pretty and I’m obsessed with the clean, refreshing scent. Now that the weather is getting cooler, it’s important for me to moisturize my skin so these have been perfect!

Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner *

This award winning eyeliner is double ended; giving you a lot of bang for your buck. On one end you get their waterproof liquid liner and then a gel pencil on the other. Both formulas are vegan and have 12 hour wear time!

The gel pencil is infused with Amazonian clay and is wax-free. This makes for an easy to use liner that glides effortlessly. It’s easy to define and/or tight-line the eyes with this liner.

The liquid liner applies glossy but dries almost instantly down to asemi-matte finish. The liner is opaque and offers full coverage, which is the most important factor to me when it comes to eyeliner. The ultra fine tip is really easy to work with too. You can easily create fine lines or build it up for a more dramatic look.

Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Liquid Lipstick in ‘Pillowtalk’ *

I have reviewed the formula of this liquid lipstick before (here) but wanted to mention this shade as it is gorgeous! The white nude looks so pretty with a smoky eye and has become my go-to for a night out. The formula is so comfortable to wear and there are a ton of shades in this range.

Decléor Huile Micellaire *

This micellar water works to cleanse the face and remove even the most stubborn makeup. It can be used on face and eyes, though it seems to disagree with me when I use it to remove my eye makeup. That being said, I really love it for my skin. The texture feels so luxurious and nourishing on my skin while breaking down my foundation. It is suitable for all skin types and is paraben free too!

What have you been enjoying this week?
