A Look at the essie Enchanted Collection

A Look at the essie Enchanted Collection

I’ve talked about my love for essie numerous times on my blog in the past so I won’t go on too much about how great I think their polishes are (even though they really, really are). I hadn’t tried any of their Gel Couture polishes though until recently. While I still prefer their original formula, the gel consistency is nice so I thought I would give you a look at the essie Enchanted Collection *!

The collection is made up of 8 pretty shades. They are all so beautiful and complement each other perfectly. My favourites in the collection are “Matter of Fiction” which is a pale blush pink, “Princess Charming” which is a rosy mauve, “Once Upon a Time” which is an iced blue with slate undertones, and “Good Knight” which is a midnight mahogany red.

The formula is noticeably thicker than the original, giving the nails an on-trend glossy finish that looks incredible! The bottles are a fun twisted design, and I found the brush easy to work with.

For me, the polishes didn’t last as long as traditional essie nail polishes do before chipping; which is ultimately why I still prefer the original formula. That being said; you can still get the better part of your week in before chipping begins, which is still decent in my opinion.

The shades are so pretty that I’ve still been continuing to use them and still will. I change up my nail polish quite often, so this really isn’t too much of a deal breaker for me; though if you’re someone who hates painting your nails and wants to get the most out of your mani; you may prefer the regular polishes instead.

Formula aside, there is no arguing that this collection is completely magical!

Have you tried any shades from essie’s Enchanted Collection? Which shade is your favourite?
