6 Things You Can Do That Don't Cost Money

I’m trying to save more money in general, but I am especially motivated with the holidays coming up! Saving money is a bit easier this time of year in my opinion, since the cold weather has me more inclined to stay in. Just because you’re trying to save money though, doesn’t mean you have to be bored! Here are 6 things you can do that don’t cost money:

Go For a Walk

Instead of meeting a friend for dinner or even a latte, meet at a park or one of your houses and walk around the neighbourhood. This way you can still get out of the house and be social, but you aren’t spending money and you’re doing something good for you too!

Have a Movie Marathon

There are so many great Christmas movies on Netflix right now so there’s no shame in staying in and binge-watching the classics. You could invite friends, family, or your significant other to join in too!

Do a Workout on YouTube

YouTube has so many great workout videos so you don’t need to have a fancy gym membership in order to work up a sweat. There is something for everyone and this is a great way to beat the winter blues!

Decorate For Christmas

If you plan on reusing your Christmas decorations from last year, you could start decorating your house for the holidays. It’s sure to get you in the festive mood and there’s something so cozy about Christmas decor to me!

Read a Book

I wish I carved out more time to read. I go through phases where I read a lot and then I won’t for months. It’s something I want to make more time for, though. There’s something so relaxing about sinking into a good book!

Have An At-Home Spa Night

Use whatever candles, bubble bath, nail polish, face mask, etc. you have in your collection and treat yourself to a pamper night! It’s such a fun way to unwind, especially after a stressful week. You could even invite your girlfriends over to join in the fun too!

  • Not only these things do not cost money, they make everyone feel good too! My favorite is going for a walk ๐Ÿ™‚
