Switching up my makeup is one of my favourite things about fall. I love all the warm tones and getting to play with all my makeup I had retired for the warmer months. Blush is one of my favourite things to switch up when it comes to my makeup. That being said, here are 4 blushes for autumn that I recommend:
Rouge Bunny Rouge Original Skin Blush in ‘Delicata’*
This blush is my go-to for days when I have on heavier eye makeup. The nude colour gives my skin a subtle flush that compliments a smoky eye perfectly. The blush gives me a natural glow and the packaging is quite luxurious.
MAC Powder Blush in ‘Desert Rose’
This my go-to blush for days when I am opting for lighter eye makeup. The soft reddish-burgundy colour looks really pretty on the skin. Since it is more of a bold blush, I prefer pairing it with more subtle eye looks. This blush is quite pigmented so a little goes a long way. Also, the matte finish is perfect for autumn.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in ‘Exposed’*
I’ve review some of the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes in the past (here) so it’s no surprise that I love the formula of these blushes. They apply beautifully to the skin and are super long lasting. I can apply these blushes in the morning and I know I won’t need a touch-up midday, which is nice. ‘Exposed’ has been my current everyday favourite blush, though. The nude-pink shade goes with virtually any makeup look and is such a pretty colour. There are quite a few shade selections in this range though, so there is certainly something for everyone.
Maison Jacynthe Blush in ’02’*
This pale pink blush is really pretty. I like wearing it in the fall because it has a brightening effect on my skin which normally starts to look a bit dull this time of year. It would be a good shade to wear year-round though, in my opinion. It is a natural formula that is long lasting and quite pigmented. I also really like the packaging!
